Vandal Kimonos offers martial art practioners lifestyle sports apparel and gear to consumers across the world.
The Project
V.K. needed to refresh their holiday collection with strong and rich digital content to help drive awareness and convert users into sales. We also developed new concepts to their existing private-line within UFC gyms.
The Challenge
After researching the competition, the first challenge was developing designs that would be relevant to V.K. existing consumer base while hitting new consumers that are in sync with the current trends of the combat sports apparel landscape.
The second challenge was to develop digital content that would match the feel of these designs yet backed with a relatable story for the consumer journey to feel like they are part of the experience.

Email Campaigns
Delivered over double digits in impressions to the consumer fan base. Our numbers easily hit over industry standards (see stats below).
Influencers
Drove brand awareness with new selected industry micro-influencers to target their fan base.
Digital Media
Created digital content to help market the full winter release apparel line which included short digital bites and a long format video for placement on aligning channels.
Design
Conceptualized and developed designs for a full winter apparel collection and additional releases for spring/summer.

The Conclusion
The results of dedicated efforts from my team and I, demonstrated appealing and minimalistic designs that the client and consumers raved about. In addition, we developed a consumer’s journey storyline captured within the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and paired it with a roof top action packed scene. The results we astonishing as shown within the examples below.
